K-State Research & Extension provides outreach on whole farm planning and environmental assessment through the River Friendly Farm, soil and water quality assessment methods through Citizen Science and assessment of the potential for 30 medicinal herbs for yield potential and marketability as alternative crops for Kansas growers through Kansas Herbs.
