Rhonda Janke provides state-wide leadership in the areas of sustainable agriculture, organic farming systems, and local food production and marketing. Her work has also included alternative crops (medicinal herbs), whole farm planning, and soil and water testing (Citizen Science). She is also the faculty advisor for the Willow Lake Student farm, which incorporates aspects of teaching, research, and extension.
