Cary Rivard recently joined the Department of Horticulture, Forestry and Recreation Resources as the Fruit and Vegetable Extension Specialist with statewide responsibilities. He is located at the K-State Horticulture Research and Extension Center in Olathe, KS and his research is focused on organic and sustainable vegetable production, tomato grafting, and high tunnel management.

The Growing Growers Program, which focuses on training new growers of vegetables & fruit, and the High Tunnels Program are centered at the Olathe Center.
