Two Horticulture Students Honored by GSD

At the Fall 2009 banquet of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture, Jesse K. Brown was presented with one of only 20 First-year Performance Awards and Dane E. Johnson was inducted into the society as a member.

QiuXia Chen, a K-State Senior majoring in Horticultural Therapy and Modern Languages (Spanish-Hispanic Studies), has been named the recipient of the Ann Lane Mavromatis Scholarship awarded each year to the top Horticultural Therapy student in the nation by the American Horticultural Therapy Association.
